Automatic Vehicle Location GPS Module

This device, marketed as an Internet based Global Positioning System (GPS) Tracking Unit uses a Hitachi embedded processor and incorporates on-board µ-blox GPS receiver module, wireless modem utilizing Cellemetry network protocols, and a main CPU board.

During the project development, the following features were implemented:

• Data logging (to store and read data);
• Geo-fencing (send a warning message if a vehicle has penetrated the fenced area);
• Battery Monitor (to protect the car battery from discharging);
• Easy Software Upgrading;
• Panic Button and numerous other for future implementation.
